Hardigg Custom Molding HARDIGG Custom Molding

By maximizing the unique advantages of rotational molding, Hardigg Industries custom-molds a wide variety of plastic products. While we’re best known as a world-class manufacturer of plastic transport cases for industrial and commercial applications, Hardigg is also an innovator in the field of custom rotational molding. We can handle virtually any rotationally molded custom job, large or small.

Some examples of Hardigg ’s successful custom rotomolded products include:
  • Sports equipment – such as golf ball washers.
  • Medical products – like Iron Ducks' emergency backboards, which minimize x-ray interference while providing maximum rigidity and strength.
  • Commercial structures – including a shopping cart management system designed to withstand extended UV ray exposure and featuring modular barriers that use water for ballast, allowing them to be easily drained for repositioning.
  • Kiosks – such as the rotomolded betting stations that have been used by the Massachusetts Lottery Commission for over 10 years.
  • Safety products – including ‘discrepancy buoys’ produced for the U.S. Coast Guard. These low-cost units are weighted with steel shot, injected with urethane foam for flotation and rigidity, and, unlike their metal predecessors, can’t dent or corrode.

    THE HARDIGG DIFFERENCE
At Hardigg Industries we specialize in the engineering and manufacture of rotationally molded Custom Transport Cases, many of which demand innovative designs for highly specialized industrial, commercial, and military applications. We also continue to develop patented features that make our reusable cases the most coveted in the world.

Our technical, production, and marketing professionals already have all the skills needed to produce excellent custom products with rotomolding techniques – from conception through prototyping, testing, and production. And we have the entire set of capabilities and resources for the custom rotational molding process right on our premises:

    • Hardigg’s staff of CADD-equipped (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) engineers work with Finite Element Analysis and Advanced Solid Modeling techniques – and, most important, collaborate with you every step of the way – to deliver the rotationally molded design precision that meets your plastic product specifications exactly.
    • Hardigg has multiple state-of-the-art rotational molding machines, including a process-controlled Ferry RS 550 bi-axial. This rotomolding machine, currently the largest commercially built unit in the industry, can accommodate molds with a 209-inch diagonal.
    • We even have an on-site commercial performance testing laboratory, where we subject rotationally molded products to the types of stress they might encounter during transit or in the field. Results can be used to direct design adjustments or marketing activities.
    • Hardigg engineers frequently advise clients on the optimal combination of materials to function best within the product’s prospective environment.
